Notarized signing, without leaving the workflow

ACT I

A document that stops at the counter

A termination agreement, a power of attorney or a purchase promise move quickly until someone has to print, travel and queue. Legaliza turns that step into one more stage of the digital workflow, with the notary inside it and not at the end of the road.

01The document is created

From the platform or from your own system through the API, with templates and the data you already have. Nobody types the same thing twice.

02The parties sign

Identity validation and advanced electronic signature issued by providers accredited under Law 19,799, from the browser and with nothing to install.

03It is assigned to the competent notary

The platform chooses only among notaries with territorial jurisdiction over that act, within the certified network. The rule cannot be skipped.

04The notary signs

The digital notarial signature happens inside the ecosystem. The document keeps exactly the same standing as if it had been signed at the counter.

05It comes back signed and stays in custody

It returns to the workflow with an integrity hash and a timestamp, and is filed where it belongs in your systems, ready for any audit.

ACT III

What makes it stand up to a review

In notarial matters what counts is certainty: who signed, before whom, when, and that nobody touched the document afterwards. Each question has a verifiable answer here.

Chilean Courts Organic Code · arts. 399–440 and 401 · DS 587

Chilean notarial framework

Acts are performed within each notary's jurisdiction and under the regulation governing the notarial function.

Law 19,799 · DS 181/2002

Advanced electronic signature

Issued through accredited certification service providers, meeting the technical standards the law requires.

Territorial jurisdiction

Jurisdictional control

Each document is assigned only to notaries with jurisdiction over that act. If the municipality is not covered, the procedure does not go through this channel.

SHA hash · before and after

Document integrity

The document's cryptographic fingerprint is computed before and after signing: any later alteration becomes evident.

Audit

Traceability with timestamp

Submissions, accesses and signatures are recorded with their timestamp and available for review at any time.

ISO/IEC 27001 · RBAC

Certified security

Documented policies, end-to-end encryption and role-based access control over who creates, approves and signs.

Backed by the certified notary network of Fundación Red Notarial.

Getting started

We pick the procedure

We start with the one that creates the most volume or the most friction today.

We configure the workflow

Template, signers, approvals and jurisdiction, using your own documents.

We connect through the API

Optional: the workflow is triggered from your system using the documentation at doc.legaliza.io.

It goes live

First a limited pilot and then the rest of the procedures.

Frequently asked questions

Does it have the same validity as a procedure done at the notary's office?

Yes. The workflow operates under Law 19,799 on electronic signatures and Chilean notarial regulation, with the signature of a notary holding territorial jurisdiction over the act.

What happens if the procedure belongs to a municipality without coverage?

The platform only assigns documents to competent notaries. If that jurisdiction is not connected yet, the procedure does not go through this channel and we tell you before starting.

How is it verified that the document was not altered?

A cryptographic hash is computed before and after signing. Any later modification breaks that fingerprint and becomes evident.

Does the signer need to install anything?

No. Signing happens in the browser, with the identity validation each type of procedure requires.

Does it integrate with the systems we already use?

Yes, through the API. The documentation is published at doc.legaliza.io and your own technical team can do the integration.

Does it work together with Legale CLM?

Yes. The same document can go through simple, advanced and notarial signing within the same cycle, without leaving the ecosystem.
