What’s new in Legale: August 2026

In August 2026 we released three Legale updates, on August 3, 13 and 18, with four new features and four fixes. The most visible change is the smart document editor, which now groups its actions in two menus and leaves more room to write.

New features

Documentation for single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID

We published the documentation for the single sign-on (SSO) integration between Legale and Microsoft Entra ID. It brings together what IT and security teams need to review and configure the integration:

• the application name and identifier,
• the permissions requested,
• the authentication method, and
• the overall authentication and integration flow.

A tidier smart document editor

The smart document editor has several changes to make creating documents and managing their fields simpler:

• “New smart document” is now “New document”, and “Field configuration” is now “Edit field”.
• The Delete action is on the same row as each field.
• Actions are grouped in two menus, Home and Fields. Home hides the fields panel to give you more editing space, and Fields shows the panel and the field actions.
• The editing area is wider.
• The corresponding folder opens by default, so you get there faster.

Folders with numeric names, in order

Folders whose name is a number are now shown from lowest to highest, in the correct sequence. This makes it easier to navigate and find a folder when the structure is large.

Automations: several values in the same filter

In the Global Filter and Launch Workflow of Automations you can now choose several names or values within the same filter. Before, each selection applied the filter and reloaded the results, and you had to reopen it to add another value. Now the filter stays open while you choose and all options are applied together when you finish.

Fixes

My Tickets: View details is read-only

From View details you could modify a ticket’s information and, when saving, the message “Ticket Edit Failed” appeared even though the changes were applied. That view is now read-only, as intended, and the confusing message no longer appears.

BUK migration with all RUT formats

The BUK migration didn’t correctly process some valid RUTs: those below 10 million and those ending in K. They are now recognized, and users and records migrate without validation errors.

Legale users available in workflows

Contacts enabled as Legale users didn’t appear when setting up a workflow with “Sign as Legale user” or with a Legale-user validator. They are now available in both lists.

Document preview in forms

The document preview didn’t appear while filling in a form, even when it was set to show. The option now works: with Show document enabled you see the linked document, and if it’s disabled, it stays hidden.
