What’s new in Legale: December 2025
On December 22, 2025 we released the last Legale update of the year, with one navigation improvement and seven fixes. Most changes target smart documents, and there are also fixes for automatic signing, reports, CSV automations and tickets.
At a glance
- Smart documents: Form and Data Capture open from the side panel, and four errors are fixed.
- Automatic signing: works again when enabled on the parent folder and its subfolders.
- Other fixes in the compliance report, CSV conditional rules and opening tickets from notifications.
Improvements
Clearer navigation in smart documents
The Form and Data Capture tabs no longer appear inside the Smart document module. They now open only from the side panel, so each module is separate and navigation is consistent across the platform.
Fixes
- Automatic signing by folder: automatic signing works when it’s enabled on the parent folder and also on each subfolder where documents are generated. With the option enabled at both levels, documents are signed automatically and bulk generation no longer fails.
- Creating a document from a smart document no longer causes a service error.
- Data Capture no longer shows an error when opened from the side panel, and data loads correctly after choosing a smart document. The contrast of the smart documents dropdown, which was hard to read, was also fixed.
- The conditional image field in smart documents no longer appears with a white background: it follows the platform’s visual theme.
- When exporting the compliance report to Excel, each value stays under its column. Before, data shifted and numbers appeared in the name column.
- When adding a conditional rule in Automation → CSV → Configuration → Workflow, the Output Value field no longer appears; it belongs only to Data to API.
- Support tickets open correctly from platform notifications, without permission errors.
