What’s new in Legale: January 2026
On January 6, 2026 we released the first Legale update of the year, with four new features and six fixes. Most of the new features extend the ADP eXpert integration, and the fixes improve forms, smart documents and CSV automations.

New features
ADP eXpert in smart document forms
In Smart document → Edit form there is a new ADP eXpert category. It mirrors the ADP eXpert configuration that already existed in Automation → CSV, so smart document forms are sent to ADP eXpert just like CSV workflows. It includes the same fixed fields as in CSV, the File name field and variables entered as text.
ADP eXpert: optional fields per section
In CSV → File name → ADP eXpert, the Date and time, Shipment number and Document ID fields are no longer required text fields. They are now optional lists that start empty and show the configured sections, from 1 to the last one.
ADP eXpert: option “5” in the document type
The ADP eXpert document type selector, in Automation → CSV → File name, adds option “5” to the existing ones, from 1 to 4.
The Filled operator in conditional fields
Conditional fields in smart documents have a new operator, Filled, which checks whether the referenced field has any value. We explain how to use conditions in Conditional rules in Legale.
Fixes
- Duplicating a CSV automation also copies the conditional rule in Configuration → Workflow.
- Uploading attached documents in a smart document no longer causes a service error.
- Sharing a smart document no longer leaves the platform blank.
- When creating or editing a form, all notification options appear again, such as Sent, Signed and Rejected.
- When editing a form, the Workflow tab shows existing workflows and the suffix fields load correctly.
- The security log loads faster.
