What’s new in Legale: June 2026

On June 30, 2026 we released a Legale update with one new feature and twenty fixes. The new feature lets you specify the date format of the CSV files that feed smart documents, and the fixes cover forms, signing workflows, the API and folders.

New feature

Custom date format in CSV automations

In a CSV automation’s settings you can specify the format of the dates in the file. Smart documents then convert and show dates in the format you need when they are generated.

Fixes

Forms and smart documents

• Forms with attached-document variables are submitted without an internal server error.
• Shared forms open normally from the email link instead of showing a blank page.
• Forms sent by automation no longer go blank when the recipient clicks Submit.
• Calculated percentages show in the form and document previews.
• When the same date variable is used several times in a form, all of them keep the chosen format.
• Logos in smart document templates display correctly.

Workflows and signing

• Creating a workflow no longer fails with the “Failed to load PDF file” error.
• Workflows can be created from non-PDF documents without a service error.
• The expiration date field is visible in dark mode, and adding a condition no longer leaves the page blank.
• Documents can be sent for signing with Legal Mobile from automations.
• Tablets selected in an automation are restored automatically when the device is registered again.

API

• Starting a signature via API no longer rejects valid documents because of a wrong status check.
• The API respects the skip_mail parameter and doesn’t send emails when it’s enabled.
• In signature requests created via API, the tablet shows the correct signer name.

Folders and files

• Users you share a folder with no longer lose access: permissions are kept until you change them.
• Uploading a ZIP keeps the folder structure and the original document names.

Other fixes

• The Excel export of My documents shows the correct status of each document after filtering.
• Compliance reports work with the status filter, including reports saved earlier with that filter.
• The support assistant, then called Cloudia, no longer gets stuck loading without answering.
• A deleted contact can be created again with the same email without showing as a duplicate.
