What’s new in Legale: March 2026
In March 2026 we released several Legale updates, between March 4 and 20, with five new features and six fixes. The most important is the arrival of artificial intelligence in smart documents, and there are also improvements to Data Management, form permissions and WhatsApp signing.
At a glance
- AI in smart documents: drafts from an instruction and shortcuts to improve text.
- Data Management: advanced filters, more columns and Excel export.
- Forms: role permissions to create, share, edit and delete.
- WhatsApp signing: its own filter in the signature history.
- Security log: records who a form was shared with by email.
- Six fixes in conditional variables, file names, SSO, automations, alarms and tablets.
New features
Artificial intelligence in smart documents
Since March 16, smart documents include an AI assistant that drafts contracts, forms and agreements from an instruction, plus shortcuts to improve, simplify, expand, shorten, change the tone of or translate a text. We explain it in detail in AI in smart documents.
Data Management: filters, columns and Excel
The Data Management module has an advanced filters section to find records by smart document, start and end dates, request status, entity type, category, file name, description, request compliance or comment. The table shows more columns, such as date, status, attached files and personal data, and filtered results can be downloaded in Excel. More in Data Management in Legale.
Form permissions in user roles
User roles have a new permission group for Forms: create, share, edit and delete forms. The module’s buttons and actions respect each role’s permissions. See Users in Legale.
WhatsApp signing filter in the history
In Profile → Contracted products → Sign history you can filter signatures sent via WhatsApp, and the Excel download respects that filter. We explain how WhatsApp signing works in this article.
The security log records who a form was shared with
When you share a form with the Share by email option, the security log now stores and shows the recipient’s email. Before, it only said the link had been sent, without saying to whom, so traceability is now more complete.
Fixes
- Conditional variables show their real value in the preview instead of an “X”, and the preview updates when you change the answer.
- File names with periods, such as those containing a RUT, no longer confuse the .pdf extension.
- When signing in with single sign-on (SSO), the session no longer closes when opening Data Management. To learn how SSO works, read SSO with Microsoft Entra ID.
- In CSV Automation → Workflow, the WhatsApp signing method appears with its correct name and, when chosen, shows the Phone field to map a CSV column or type a fixed number.
- Alarm recurrence settings display correctly: the Get date from CSV option no longer appears where it shouldn’t, and the repeat fields are aligned.
- A tablet shared by several users no longer causes a service error when loading the account.
