What’s new in Legale: October 2025

In October 2025 we released four Legale updates, on October 8, 16, 17 and 23, with four improvements and thirteen fixes. Several new features also arrived that we explain in their own articles, such as the cloud advanced signature and conditional rules in workflows.

At a glance

• Forms: single-column forms keep their layout on mobile, and list fields have an option to clear the selection.
• Advanced signature: the QR code moved, and FEA enrollment no longer skips the Civil Registry validation.
• Thirteen fixes in folders, the viewer, forms, CSV automations, My Tickets, the AI chat and the Word add-in.

Improvements

Single-column forms on mobile

Forms set to a single column keep that structure on mobile. Dropdown fields no longer look compressed, and the submit button is fully visible on small screens.

Clear the selection in list fields

List fields in smart document forms include, by default, an option to clear a choice made by mistake. This option already existed when configuring CSV automations.

New position for the advanced signature QR code

The advanced electronic signature QR code moved up slightly to match the new reference design and leave the document tidier.

API documentation: production and test URLs

The API documentation on GitHub has a new section explaining which base URL to use in production and which in the test environment, to avoid confusion when integrating. You’ll find more resources in the API documentation.

Fixes

• FEA enrollment no longer skips the Civil Registry validation, and if you reload the browser after creating the PIN you can continue where you left off. We explain the full process in Cloud advanced electronic signature.
• Downloading a folder includes all files, including those with the same name.
• The document viewer shows each attachment in its original format. Before, it could repeat the same file, show some only as thumbnails or not show them at all.
• Forms sent in bulk from an automation no longer look cut off on mobile.
• In Data Capture, now Data Management, the first field shows the form submission date, and the current date appears only in its own field.
• Conditional variables show correctly in the smart document preview.
• Applying filters in a CSV automation no longer causes special-character errors in generated documents.
• CSV files with an uppercase extension (.CSV) can be uploaded without a service error.
• The Send button in the AI chat works again.
• The My Tickets menu item is highlighted when selected, like the rest of the menu, and creating a contact with read-only access no longer fails.
• My Tickets only appears for customers who have the service enabled.
• You can sign in to the Legale add-in for Word without errors.
• The Next button in the dashboard filters works again.
